Hello Ardath,
I'm a huge fan of your blog and your content is always fantastic! Thanks for posting this video. Like Louise, I too watched it all the way through.
Thanks for mapping out the 7 elements to a good B2B stories and for providing great examples along the way.
I'm in online marketing and can see the benefit in storytelling. You raised a excellent point around the 'hand-off' process - once marketing hand's over the "Hero" to sales, the sales person needs to continue with the same story and at the same momentum otherwise we'll lose them.
The other key take-out for me was the point you mentioned quite late into your presentation, something along these lines: 'More buying cycles end up lost due to indecision then due to a competitor' that was gold!
I'm going to recommend all the folks in our sales team watch this video as I'm sure it will resonate with them and help them.
Thanks again for sharing and please let me know if you are ever visiting Sydney, Australia.
Regards,
Mark

Hi Mark - Thanks very much, as well, for your comment. I like your take out and I'd be interested to know how your salespeople respond to the video - should any of them watch it. I'd love to visit Sidney, Australia - I'll keep you in mind!

Hi Ardath,
I only had time to watch one segment, but I really enjoyed it. I go to a group here in Arizona called Storytellers AZ, and it's a bunch of different writers and marketers and we discuss how to take the two different approaches and make them work. I really like how you talk about showing them that you're human. It really is a crucial part in connecting with your client. Especially after you've spent so much time identifying their pain and building that rapport. To me this material is gold. Thank you!
