Ardath, would it be an accurate paraphrase to say that today everyone in the organization is, at least potentially, part of the marketing team? If so, then perhaps it would be good to couch the internal education in those terms. I think that some organizations have figured this out, but many more have not.

Hi Larry,

Yes, I think your paraphrase is correct. The interesting part of this is that people who don't perceive themselves as marketers will approach communications differently. So the challenge is to figure out how to help them participate in ways that work for them, but also promote/reflect the company's overall value at the same time.
