Another great post, Ardath. Having salespeople (looking for Mr. Right Now) doing long term lead nurturing is one of the dumbest ideas I've ever heard. And I've been a salesperson.

Lead Nurturing requires deep thought, planning and patience. Is that what salespeople are known for?

Move lead nurturing over to Marketing. That is where it belongs.

Thanks Ardath, Lead Nurturing is so important for B2B marketing. The tie-in of behavioral and scoring information to sales at the right moment - so they can engage and SELL - is key. Your post hits the nail on the head.
